Problem:
Needing a flexible, but more importantly, portable enclosure, ShawCor Ltd. required a unique solution to enclose and house their specialized repair equipment to be used in remote locations.
Solution:
ShawCor Ltd. saw the immediate benefits of ProPart Modular’s unique Proflex® buildings. Providing a schematic to illustrate exactly how the Proflex® building was to be incorporated into a prototype unit, ProPart Modular set about customising a standard 8’x40′ Proflex® container. The final collective assortment of easily transportable buildings was being constructed to service and repair large oil rig drill-bits in a remote location in Mexico.
Proflex® containers are ProPart Modular patented modular steel structures which provide economical and efficient combined office, storage and custom space solutions. Shawcor Ltd. worked closely with ProPart Modular to customize a unit, which would include a separate control room along with a large frame opening, enabling seamless access to a separate machine room. All units can easily be disconnected for transport to other locations. Additionally, included on all units are galvanized skids complete with forklift pockets for easy placement in locations with limited access.
