Problem:
Bird construction, a valued repeat customer, needed a custom Smoke Shelter for their clients busy, new state-of-the-art facility located in Hamilton, Ontario.
Solution:
ProPart Modular has long provided Smoke Shelters for a variety of many satisfied clients which is precisely why Bird Construction turned to ProPart Modular to create an oversized Smoke Shelter for one of their clients. Measuring 18 by 30 feet, and providing a convenient shelter for many, the structure was completed using light-gauge aluminum along with tempered glass.
The light-gauge aluminum frame is corrosion resistant to salt and rust, and easily relocated should a move be necessary. Working closely with all trades, the concrete base was poured first by Bird Construction, the shelter was placed, then electrical was added last to provide lighting for this busy 24 hour shift plant. This shelter was done in conjunction with two other projects completed by ProPart Modular at the same location. An Elevated Guardhouse was completed first, and a Bike Shelter with the exact same dimensions was also provided.
