Problem:
The Daimler Chrysler Corporation built a new facility in Toledo, Ohio to manufacture their Jeep. Chrysler was finding that they had a lot of down time because employees were leaving the manufacuring line to walk the considerable distance to the washroom facilities. Chrysler’s engineering department had to come up with a solution to this problem and to standardize it for Daimler Chrysler worldwide.

Daimler Chrysler approached ProPart Modular with their concerns. ProPart designed and fabricated 56 relocatable washroom units for the Toledo plant.
Units were split for ease of shipping and relocation within the 12′ aisles of the automotive plant. Integrated fork lift pockets were incorporated into the heavy duty structural steel sub floors. One piece sheet vinyl flooring was used due to the heavy industrial traffic these units would experience.
Units arrived prefinished, just electrical and plumbing hook up were required to put the units into instant use on site.
The units were designed using the System 40™ wall system with metal clad panels inside and outside, easily cleaned, highly resistant to impact and abrasion, ideal for these industrial structures. Made of all steel, the System 40™ washroom facilities will offer Daimler Chrysler long life and durability.
