Problem:
Pizza Pizza approachedProPart Modulars to find a Modular Space Solution to their unique requirements. In the past, Pizza Pizza had used trucks and tents at special events. With the logistics of daily operations for a venue like the Canadian National Exhibition (18 day attendance exceeding 1 million patrons) they were in search of a better solution.

Solution:
ProPart Modular teamed up with Pizza Pizza’s architect Howard Tuchman and designed a two piece modular structure to meet Pizza Pizza’s criteria. The design included a cooler, preparation, make and bake areas, dishwasher area, separate hand wash sink, 800 amp 3 phase electrical services, electronic temperature control staged to 18 tons total cooling capacity, oven ventilation, non-slip welded seam flooring, FRP panel interior cladding, granite countertop with 7 sales stations. The roof structure designed to accommodate imposed wind loading for signage, and steel roll-up doors to secure the building at the end of a days operation. The modular building was delivered and set up on schedule and on budget fulfilling Pizza Pizza’s expectations.
