Architectural Excellence The client approached Provincial Partitions with very specific requirements. They wanted a unique, upscale sales office for their busy car dealership that was to be both octagonal in shape, enabling a full 360° view of their automobile inventory for both sales staff and customers, and modular. They had considered conventional construction but because the option to relocate was determined to be a priority, they went with the benefits and flexibility of using modular components instead. Additionally, hardwood flooring was to be installed throughout to create a luxurious and welcoming feel to the interior.
Technical Innovation The structure was built entirely at Provincial Partitions new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. Comprised of four steel super structure frames, totaling approximately 2,200 square feet when combined, and outfitted with Provincial Partitions patented Prokit® steel framing, the building was ready to deliver in a matter of weeks. The four separate units were easily craned into position at the client location. Only environmentally responsible materials were used throughout.
Cost Effectiveness/Energy Efficiency
The cost effectiveness of using easily re-locatable components to complete the structure was a deciding factor for the client. The strength and durability of steel ensured that the potential re-location of the individual modules would easily maintain the integrity of the original structure. When comparing the option of using either conventional building methods or modular, the client was easily able to determine how to save both time and money by going with a modular solution.
Provincial Partitions also won Honourable Mention at the MBI 2014 Awards of Distinction: Marketing Pieces for their re-designed corporate website. The website was also voted “Best Of Show” by the attendees at this years show.
