ProPart Modular > News2 > PROKIT® Sustainable, Reusable and Environmentally Responsible

es_fox_heroIn a first of it’s kind the City Of Toronto is spearheading a project to turn organic waste into renewable energy. When complete, the new facility will process up to 90,000 tonnes of Green Bin material per year. Currently under construction at Provincial Partitions Milton plant is a 2,800 square foot administrative building using our proprietary PROKIT® steel framing throughout.

Provincial Partitions’ commitment to using steel is consistent with our corporate mandate to provide “green” building innovations for our entire customer base. This administrative building which will service the new faciity when complete, will house modular offices, boardrooms and washrooms.

es_fox_hero_2Fact: The recycled steel from 8 scrap cars provides enough steel to build a 2,000 square foot structure.

With growing environmental concerns and a dwindling forest cover, steel framing is making a positive impact on the future of our environment. Steel is 100% recyclable, making PROKIT® a sustainable building method that uses environmentally responsible products. The City of Toronto wanted a building that mirrored their own commitment to using sustainable materials. PROKIT® definitely fit the bill.
